The outside world comes alive when we are inspired by nature. From leaf rubbings and clay pressings, to paintings of trees and insects, we celebrate nature through art! Join us for a mixed media camp all about nature with lessons that meets National Standards for Art Education. Your budding artist will explore many techniques of art using pastels, watercolors, acrylics, clay, and more! All projects are sure to delight boys and girls alike. CODE! A Smart Start To Computer Science Basics

A creative environment for learning basic coding and computer science uses a mix of online activities and “unplugged” hands-on activities. This camp nurtures creativity, problem solving, collaboration, and logic through tutorials like Star Wars, Minecraft, and more. Every camper will have access to all the online computer activities outside the classroom during and after the completion of camp.

Engineering Explorations

As an engineer you will learn physical science concepts and use them as you design, construct, test and analyze results. Then, you will reconstruct, retest and reanalyze results to determine whether design modifications were effective. Design and construction competitions may include bridges, roller coasters and amusement park rides, electric circuits, rockets and space vehicles, energy efficient buildings and interactive computer challenges.

Science Super Sleuths

Become a science detective as you explore the many facets of the science world. This week is packed with fun-filled, hands-on, minds-on science activities, as you learn about being a CSI, paleontologist, oceanographer, astronaut, chemist or biologist. Investigate a murder mystery, the properties of slime, Mysterious Yuk, mystery powders, pollution and more.
